 We have three Function Suites, each offering luxurious surroundings for your wedding reception.

The Grand Ballroom and Richmond can cater for larger numbers followed by evening entertainment if you so wish. These suites are self contained with bar facilities in the room.

The Westbury Suites has been purpose built to cater for family celebrations from 10 up to 40 guests, however this suites also boasts a dividing wall through to the Richmond Suits catering for the Larger Party.

Should you decide to have your wedding at the Balmoral Hotel, a member of the management team will supervise your wedding from your arrival at the hotel to ensure that everything runs smoothly and you can relax and enjoy your special day.

We at the Balmoral Hotel are pleased to announce that we are fully equipped and licensed to cater for civil ceremonies.

Our beautiful Richmond Suite is the perfect venue to hold your civil ceremony, and with the combined use of our Grand Ballroom for your reception makes the Balmoral Hotel the perfect location for this special day.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

1. Provisional bookings will be held for seven days from date of booking. A deposit of £200.00 will secure all booking, with a further £300.00 six months prior to your wedding reception.

2. You must contact the hotel 2 weeks before your wedding to make an appointment with the Conference & Banqueting Co-ordinator to go over the final details for your big day.

3. Final numbers must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the event and these will be the minimum number charged for

4. All accounts must be settled the day before the wedding reception by either cash, bankers draft or credit card (2% surcharge applicable when paying by credit card)

5. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable

6. Prices are inclusive of V.A.T. at 17.5%

7. All cancellations must be made in writing at least one month before the date as a cancellation fee will be charged.

8. The client assumes responsibility for damage caused by them or their guests, or other persons attending the function, whether in the room reserved or in any part of the hotel and undertakes to make good or pay restitution for the making good of any material damage to furniture, fixtures or equipment. Nothing should be affixed to the floor walls, ceilings or column of the allocated room by nail, screw, drawing pins, tape or by any other means or be suspended from the room.

9. No food or beverages my be brought onto the premises by the client or their guests

10. alcohol will be served until 12.30am and entertainment to finish at 1.00am

11. Please note the prices indicated are based on costs at the time of print and are subject to fluctuation

12. The client undertakes to conduct his function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules and direction of the hotel management and will all applicable legislation

13. The client undertakes to bring their function at the agreed time and to ensure that their guests vacate the premises at closing time

14. The wedding package is applicable to wedding reception of 80 guests and above

15. Finger and fork buffets are recommended for evening reception; however we only cater for the total number of guest in the banqueting suite. Finger and fork buffets are not available in the wedding package as a main meal

16. Should the hotel, for reasons BEYOND ITS CONTROL, need to make any amendments to your booking, we reserve to right to offer an alternative choice of facilities

17. The hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, service, food and beverage as a result of events outside its control

18. Accommodation at the Balmoral Hotel can be sold at any time to all types of guests such as tourists, corporate or conference guests. Accommodation at the Balmoral Hotel is subject to availability and is sold on a “first come basis”. It is therefore advisable to make all bedroom reservation as early as possible. Accommodation may only be reserved with a £30.00 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit per room. Bedrooms may not be booked or “blocked Booked” without deposits.
