Payment

Your credit or debit card details are required to guarantee the reservation; however, no charge will be made at the time of booking (*excluding prepaid offers). Reservations cancelled outside of cancellation policy will incur a penalty equivalent to a one night’s stay which will be deducted from the credit card provided at the time of booking.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise cards prior to arrival. The Hotel reserves the right to charge the card held on file to the amount of the first night stay. Should the card decline, they also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking within the cancellation policy.

• For prepaid offers the full amount will be taken from the card provided at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Group bookings may have different cancellation policies depending on the contractual agreements for each individual group.

Cash payments are welcome. If you choose to pay in cash upon arrival, a security deposit in the form of cash or a preauthorisation on a credit or debit card will be requested, along with photo id. Acceptable identifications include passport or driving license.

Cancellations

Contact the hotel directly by time stated on confirmation email, a minimum of 72 hours by 12 noon prior to the arrival date. Failure to do so will result in an amount equal to the value of the first night’s accommodation being charged to compensate the hotel for its loss of earnings (‘the Cancellation Fee’). Deposits paid by the guest will be applied against the Cancellation Fee owing.

Non-Arrivals

In the event of a guests’ non-arrival (no-show), an amount equal to the value of the first night’s accommodation charge will be applied to the credit card that was used to guarantee the booking or billed backed to the company where credit facilities are established to compensate the hotel for its loss of earnings (‘the Cancellation Fee’). Deposits paid by the guest will be applied against the Cancellation Fee owing.

Children

Children of any age are welcome. Infants under 3 years stay free of charge. Cots are available on request at a cost but cannot be guaranteed. The maximum number of extra beds and cots allowed is dependent on the room you choose. Please check your selected room for the maximum capacity. All cots and extra beds are subject to availability.
 
 

Pets

Pets are not allowed in the hotel with exception to the Greenan bar.

Special Instructions

Any special instructions you have submitted with your booking should relate to your reservation and are likely to be addressed on the day of your arrival. If you have any more pressing requests, we suggest you contact the hotel directly by email or phone.

Balmoral Hotel Gift Card Terms & Conditions

• Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can only be redeemed in Balmoral hotel belfast.
• Gift Cards may not be exchanged for cash, is non-refundable and non-transferable and can be used as part or full payment.
• Gift Cards is not a cheque guarantee, credit, debit, or charge card.
• No change will be given but the balance can be used for future purchases.
• Balmoral Hotel cannot be held liable for cards which, once activated, are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged. Vouchers will not be replaced.
• We reserve the right to amend Terms & Conditions.
• All bookings are subject to availability.
