The Balmoral Hotel has two bars:
- The Greenan Bar – our lively sports and entertainment bar, featuring live music, DJs, quiz nights, delicious food and our popular Beer Garden.
- The Lobby Bar – a relaxed setting, perfect for enjoying a coffee, cocktail, glass of wine or meeting friends and colleagues.
What's the difference between the Greenan Bar and the Lobby Bar?
The Greenan Bar is ideal for live entertainment, sport and casual dining, while the Lobby Bar offers a quieter, more relaxed environment for drinks and conversation.
Is food served in the bars?
Yes. Food is served in the Greenan Bar, with menus available throughout the week. Guests in the Lobby Bar can also enjoy coffees & delicious baked treats.
Do you show live sport?
Yes. The Greenan Bar regularly shows major sporting events on large screens, including football, rugby, GAA, boxing and more.
Do you have live music?
Yes. The Greenan Bar hosts regular live music, DJs, quiz nights and special events throughout the week.
Is there outdoor seating?
Yes. The Greenan Bar features a spacious Beer Garden, perfect for enjoying food and drinks outdoors. During the warmer months, it's a popular spot to relax with friends, enjoy live music and DJs, and watch selected live sporting events on our outdoor screens.
Do you have non-alcoholic options?
Absolutely. We offer soft drinks, alcohol-free beers, mocktails, tea and coffee.
Do you have Guinness and draught beers?
Yes. We serve a wide selection of draught beers, lagers, ciders and Guinness.
Do you serve cocktails?
Yes. Both bars offer a range of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, ciders and non-alcoholic beverages.
Are the bars family-friendly?
Yes. Both bars welcome families during permitted licensing hours. Children must be accompanied by an adult & leave the bar before 9PM.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! The Greenan Bar, Lobby Bar and Beer Garden are dog friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friend along while you enjoy food or drinks. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and are well behaved during their visit.
