Win Your Wedding Competition – Terms & Conditions.
Balmoral Hotel encourages all entrants to thoroughly read these Terms and Conditions before entering. If entrants cannot comply with all Win Your Wedding Competition Terms and Conditions, they should not enter.
1. Eligibility
1.1. The BALMORAL HOTEL Win Your Wedding Competition is open to couples who have not yet booked their wedding at BALMORAL HOTEL.
1.2. Couples who have already booked their wedding at BALMORAL HOTEL venue are also eligible to enter, provided their wedding date is after 1st January 2026 and on or before the 31st of December 2027. If the wedding is booked outside of this period, the entry will be disqualified.
1.3. The competition is open to anyone 18 years or over at the time of entering.
1.4. BALMORAL HOTEL employees, their immediate families (including any live-in partner), or persons directly associated with BALMORAL HOTEL and this competition are ineligible to enter. Any entries found in violation of this rule will be disqualified, and BALMORAL HOTEL reserves the right to re-draw a winner.
1.5. BALMORAL HOTEL reserves the right to verify the age, identity, and eligibility of an entrant at any time. Failure to provide such evidence may result in forfeiture of the prize.
1.6. This competition is intended for couples getting married and cannot be used for vow renewals, celebrations or any event that is not a wedding. If BALMORAL HOTEL suspects that the prize winners are not a genuine engaged couple, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize. BALMORAL HOTEL’s decision will be final.
2. Competition Entry
2.1. The competition will run from 1PM to 5pm on Sunday 19th October 2025 during the Balmoral Hotel Wedding Showcase Event. Entries received outside this period will be void.
2.2. To enter, entrants must complete all details required on the Win Your Wedding Competition Entry Form.
2.3. No alternative entry formats (email, post, or verbal) will be accepted. Entries submitted through these means will be deemed void.
2.4. Entrants must provide their full name, valid email address, valid UK or Ireland mobile number, a postcode of residence, and any other mandatory information requested.
2.5. Couples who have already booked a wedding at BALMORAL HOTEL are not automatically entered. They must complete the Win Your Wedding Competition Entry Form to participate.
2.6. Entry is free; however, the winner must still pay the £1,000 Booking Deposit to secure their date. This deposit will be used as the refundable damage deposit and can be reimbursed should no additional charges be required the wedding.
2.7. Only one entry per couple is permitted.
2.8. BALMORAL HOTEL’s decision is final in all matters related to the competition.
2.9. Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
3. Prizes
3.1. Overview
Main Prize: A wedding package for one hundred guests worth up to £15,000 at BALMORAL HOTEL to take place between 1st January 2026 and 31st December 2027
3.2. Main Prize –Wedding Package for one hundred guests
3.2.1. The main prize consists of a Wedding Package for one hundred guests at BALMORAL HOTEL. For the purpose of these terms and conditions – this is referred to as ‘The Wedding Package’.
3.2.2. The wedding date must be between 1st January 2026 and 31st December 2027. If the winner’s chosen date is unavailable, BALMORAL HOTEL will work with them to find a suitable alternative within the specified period.
3.3. Any additional requirements beyond The Wedding Package, as detailed below, will be charged at the standard rate.

· Welcome Drinks - Fizz for one hundred people
· Delicious canapés to accompany your welcome drinks for one hundred people
· Private Room for Drinks Reception
· Dining Room Design, Venue Dressing Décor by Inspired Memoires
· Dior chairs
· Custom Print Dance floor
· Photo booth
· Singer Two hours- John Garrity
· Matcha table - Grace from Gra Matcha
· 30 minute set with Paula Kay Sax
· In-house Venue DJ (after meal service until 1am)
· Wedding Car provided by Silverline in their Vintage Style range
· 3 Tier Wedding Cake by Bella Torta (choice of 3 selected flavours per tier)
· Full bar facilities including staff (beverages not included in package)
· Master Of Ceremonies
· Our stunning Bridal Suite for the night of your wedding
· Discounted Rates on up to ten bedrooms for guests of the wedding, inclusive of Breakfast
· Late evening Buffet for one hundred people
3.4. Exhibitors included in the prize is also subject to availability and the BALMORAL HOTEL cannot be held accountable for this.
3.5. General Prize Conditions
3.5.1. Prizes can only be redeemed at BALMORAL HOTEL
3.5.2. There is no cash alternative. Prizes cannot be transferred to another date once agreed upon.
3.5.3. The winner must pay a £1,000 Refundable Damage Deposit as this is not included in the prize value.
3.5.4. If a winner cancels their wedding, they forfeit their prize, and BALMORAL HOTEL will not offer a replacement.
3.5.5 The main prize cannot be transferred to a third party.
3.5.6. BALMORAL HOTEL can recommend third-party suppliers but is not responsible for their performance.
3.5.7. It is the winner’s responsibility to give notice of marriage 29 days prior to their wedding date to ensure their wedding can take place.
3.5.8. Winners of the main prize may be required to give BALMORAL HOTEL access to their wedding photography and videography, which may be used in future marketing and public relations in connection with their win.
3.5.9. The winners’ photographer and videographer will be credited as standard should any images or videos be used in BALMORAL HOTEL marketing online and in print.
3.6. Runner up Prizes – Subject To Availability - TBC
3.7. By accepting this prize, the winner grants BALMORAL HOTEL permission to use the clips captured for its marketing and social media purposes.
4. Winner Selection & Notification
4.1. Winners will be randomly selected on TBC.
4.2. BALMORAL HOTEL will attempt to contact winners using the details provided. If a winner cannot be reached within seven days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected.
5. Liability
5.1. BALMORAL HOTEL is not liable for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this competition.
6. Data Protection
6.1. Entrants’ data will be used for marketing purposes in accordance with BALMORAL HOTEL’s privacy policy. Entrants will receive a confirmation email, confirming they have successfully entered the competition. Entrants will be able to opt in to receive further marketing emails.
6.2. By entering, winners’ consent to BALMORAL HOTEL using their name and wedding details for publicity purposes.
6.3. Winners’ personal information, including name, contact details, and wedding details, will be stored securely and used solely for administering the competition and fulfilling the prize. This data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.
